So May 4-5 we will be heading to eastern Iowa to Torque Fest.  Dave and I are gonna take El Shovelle and his new Triumph Bobber to the shindig and hang for a couple of days.  We will be meeting up with Milwaukee Mike from Cycle Source to do a photo shoot there at Torque Fest.  Been crazy around here as of late doing lots of stuff.  The Shovel chopper is coming along.  I did a Crazy frank style fender for a bike Moose is buildin for a friend, and lots going on with the Jag project.  Got a 67 BSA Hornet we are doing some work on too.  I also just sold my old 72 Triumph Bonneville chopper today.  Damn I'm gonna mis that thing, but its on to somthing new.  Maybe that will give me the motivation to get moving on the J.A.P. project.  I promise I will get after posting some new pics.  REALLY!!!

Hot Bike Feature Shoot

Well it's been a grip since I last posted. We took El Shovelle to the Donnie Smith show in the Twin Cities two weeks ago. We got beat out by a bunch of fancy baggers. Go figure. They were some nice baggers though. We didn't come home with nothing though. There was interest in the bike by a couple of magazines. Which leads me to this post. This last tuesday we spent the better part of the day with Don and Deb Kates of Shooters Images doing a photo shoot for Hot Bike Magazine. I would like to thank Don and Deb for all of the great shots they took. These two are amazing, photorgrahers and people. We did the shoot in the old grain elevator here in Jefferson, and it turned out to be a killer location. I will keep you all posted as to when the issue our feature will be coming out. I would also like to take the time to thank everyone else who has helped with this project along the way. I'm not gonna make a list, you all know who you are. "Diamond" Dave it was a bummer you didn't get to share in the experience. I also wish my partents were still around to have seen it. Here is one of the shots that Don took that day. Hope everyone likes.
